Your guinea pig has most likely got an ulcerating eye infection. Please see a vet for antibiotic eye drops. Thankfully eye examination (with a special dye under uv light), treatment and medication is the same as for cats and dogs so any vet should be able to check the amount of damage in there.
Plain tear drops can help with moving the ulceration gunk and make the eye feel better but they cannot replace any medication. Please always at least half an hour between applying any medication or drops to the eye in order to allow them to absorb fully.
