So my Guinea Pig has a small area around his lower stomach that is loosing hair making it bald. I'm not sure what it is but it is flakey so I'm assuming its dry skin.

Please have your piggy seen by a vet as they will be able to tell you exactly what is going on and prescribe any appropriate treatments

Please have your piggy vet checked for a potential fungal skin infection. There are other varieties that are not necessarily ringworm (so they cannot be lab tested but they won't be as contagious or aggressive) but 'dry skin' as an online symptom is unfortunately one of these breeder myths that are used to hide a multitude of sins...
The right treatment should clear up and problem. Please do not home treat on spec.
