Gordon is now settled with Elsie and Daisy :)

They're in a 5 x 3 playhouse/shed with run attached that I've messed about with having been inspired by seeing Tanya1's set up!

Someone else insulated and ply lined for me - the rest was my handywork! Got splinters to prove...!

Main area with ramps and fixed in house. Cut a gap in the right side of this so they can tunnel through to the corner and out as well.

Exit to run has two doors. A very thick one for colder weather that slots down from the inside and a thinner one which opens/closes from the outside for warmer weather.

Upper level!

Sneaky peek through the mesh window...

Attached run with grass, and a hidey chest I found in the charity shop. Just got to work out how to get them out there..!:(

What a palace for your piggies. They are very lucky to have such a magnificent home.

We're loving it. How did you insulate it? Is that playhouse/shed an actual shed?

Hi

Insulated it with Thermawrap - the foil/bubble stuff then a joiner did the ply lining. The shed is advertised as a playhouse by my local shed manufacturers in Leeds. I asked them if they would adapt it for me, making it a pent roof, rather than an apex one and making the window slightly smaller, with mesh instead of perspex.

Here's a link to the original thing. I also had to get a tighter fitting door as they leave gaps round playhouse doors for children's safety.

Thanks for all kind comments!

WOW - that is the ultimate in piggy luxury... They must be sooo tickled with their palace!

waw you've done an amazing job here, looks really good, lucky piggies! :))

I love that, it's exactly what I'd like but *** in my house is good with wood ;)

Cheers all. :)

They do seem to love it - up and down the ramps all the time but not going outside. Are they too scared, do you think? Should I put a cover over the run?
