Hello Everyone. Just a little update on Lily.
We recently got her a new friend and they have been getting on ok. Lily's poops did improve for a short while, but did notice some rather soft and squishy poops in her run. We are planning on speaking to a vet this evening and seeing if they can prescribe any medication for her upset stomach. Other than that, she seems to be ok, and is eating and engaging with us.

Ginger biscuit our new guineapig seems fine too, however her footpads seem to be a little swollen and sore. Do you think this could be due to a change in flooring? (She has sawdust and hay).

Please remove fresh veg from the diet of any piggy suffering with soft poops. Keep her off veg until poops normalise, then for a further 24 hours after. Then when you reintroduce veg do so slowly.
If this is an ongoing issue, then it’s best if you can continue on your previous thread about the same subject as we then have all the background advice available to us.

If her foot seems swollen and sore, then please see a vet. It’s not easy to see from the picture given it is backlit, but any swollen or red open sore areas could be bumblefoot

Thankyou. Will try again, and see if Lily improves. Sorry for the confusion re. Threads and posts.
