Guinea Really Cuddly?

I came home today after only being gone for about 30 minutes. As soon as i walked over, bean was standing against the side of the cage bars in her downstairs cage and squeaking (usually she does this when she wants to be picked up or food) so i picked her up and cuddled her for a bit but usually after 10 minutes of holding she starts to lightly bite if you pet her and she gets mad if u dont put her down, but i held her for 30 minutes and each time i tried to put her down bean would run up me and scratch me everywhere. I finally got her in the cage and she has been acting afraid. She usually loves her downstairs cage because its big and has multiple hides and food etc. I tried to take her out of the cage again just to put her on my lap and pet her (I'm allergic to her fur so i can't hold her for long periods of time) but each time i placed her on my lap while i sat she would run uo the front of my shirt and straight to under my neck. I feel bad because I'm not sure why she wants to be so cuddly for such this long time and I'm unable to hold her for as long as she seems to want. Do you think something spooked her whike i was gone or is she just feeling cuddly?

Is she a lone piggy or does she have a cage mate? If she's a lone piggy she's probably feeling very lonely and that's why she's suddenly wanting so much attention.
