Well Dumpling's term of solitary is finally over! For those that don't remember; my Tilly pig had (( Three Very Cute But Very Unexpected Babies! ))! Well one of them was a boy - Dumpling - the black piggy.
So he's been on his own for some time - I waited for him to reach 6 months before having him neutered then it was a further 5 weeks post-neuter to make sure there were no more babies lol.
On Friday they all went back in together!
To celebrate the occasion I added a grid to their cage and I've used vinyl in it instead of Correx which makes it a nice big open space. Correx wouldn't have been big enough lol. I know it's a bit boring at the moment - I will hopefully add a few tunnels and probably a second level at some point - but am too broke to do this yet lol.
Sooo....the cage!

And......who's this? An extra piggle? Please welcome Humbug! She's a rehome from Preloved and was going to be rehomed as a single sow. The family that had her were well-meaning but a little clueless, bless them. To their credit though; they took her away from someone who'd been breeding her again and again - apparently although only 1 year old she's had 3 litters! She fitted in with the herd straight away. No fuss, no problems at all. It's as if she's always been here, bless her. I decided we may as well even up the numbers given that we had the room - and she was only down the road from us.
