Guinea Pigs Panicking Suddenly

My eldest guinea pig has suddenly freaked out several times when I am cuddling him but there is no trigger
My youngest piggy has also done this today
Both of them demonstrate thw same behaviour and run in the same direction

Could they be sensing paranormal activity?
When I calmed my piggy I took some snaps but couldn't see anything so I was wondering if anyone has experienced this

it is not always obvious what sets off piggies, but once they have taken a bit of a fright, it takes some time for the to come back out of the jitters. It is a legacy of them being prey animals and a survival instinct.
