My guinea pigs are outdoors in their hutch however it’s connected to their run, my guinea pigs keep running round in it even when its raining and they’re getting damp but it doesn’t seem to be bothering them they still seem to love running about.. should i close them in their hutch or let them be? Surely they’d go in if they were cold themselves.

Please dry them and bring them in their hutch immediately. They will get cold and they shouldn't even be getting wet. Make sure their hutch is not getting wet inside too.

I think you have to block the run access off when its raining, overnight or when your not at home.

Rain doesn’t harm guinea pigs as long as it’s warm outside. If the temperature is below 20 degrees Celsius they shouldn’t be outside in the rain, but as long as it’s warmer they will be okay. My girls love to run around in the rain and as long as it’s warm I let them do that.
