My guinea pigs keep going under their fleece bedding. I am worried that one day they will get stuck when I am not home. I have tried pigloos, but they like to burrow into the bedding more. What should I do?

What kind of fleece do you use? I love using GuineaDad fleece liners because they have special burrowing pockets for your piggies to snuggle in.
Make sure they have plenty of hideys. Guinea pigs are prey animals and hiding is a natural instinct for them.
I would not really recommend pigloos. I find that the piglets love to chew them, and ingesting plastic is quite bad for them.
Do you want the links to a few good hides? I have a few wood hides for my piggies because they love to chew!
What type of enclosure are they living in (so I can give more specific advice)?
:)

I use the fleece bedding made by Small Pets and Company. I would appreciate if you gave me links and I have a Midwest cage. Thank you for your help!

Depending on what kind of cage you have, you could clip the fleece to the sides. My girls like to burrow as well so I now clip their fleece to the sides of the correx. They also burrow underneath the bath mats I put on top of the fleece. But I found a solution at the weekend which seems to have stopped them. Their pigloos are underneath the pink fleece which I clipped to the grids.

Our also used to love to do this. Depending on the type of set up you have you may be able to make it impossible by attaching the fleece somehow?

Alternatively, you might try temporarily using some other bedding such as newspaper + hay, while offering new snuggly hideys at the same time, and hope it gets them out of the habit of it fleece burrowing and into the habit of hidey use?
