Guinea Pigs housed with rabbits?

I thought that this wasn't allowed. I just read an article about our local zoo, here's the link so you can see for yourselves;

Am I wrong in thinking that these guinea pigs are living with the rabbits?

I mean, it is allowed but it shouldn't be. Yeah, it says that they've moved the guinea pigs into Rabbit World so yeah, I'm guessing they are living with the buns. Seeing as it's your local zoo, maybe you could write a letter to them explaining how it's wrong to enclose guinea pigs and rabbits together? What's the worst that could happen? ;)

It is good that the male pigs have been moved in to a bigger enclosure but ideally, they shouldn't be living with rabbits.

As suggested already, may be write a letter to the zoo pointing out your concerns.

Well it doesn't look like they are enclosed in together in a small space (like a hutch) so less chance of accidental kicks as there is more space to get away.

But would still be worried about bullying and that disease which can be harmful to pigs and is sometimes carried by rabbits

What worries me most is A - they were breeding them in the first place, B - the size of that rabbits head in comparison to the pigs, it's obviously a large breed and if it decided even to cuddle up with a piggy it could crush it.

I went to Dudley zoo a few years ago, and its the grimmest place i have been in years.

There's actually two things wrong here:
1- The rabbit and guinea pigs living together.
2- Correct me if I'm wrong but haven't they housed more than 2 males together?
