Have a question from a fellow guinea pig owner!
When he is eating, sometimes sleeping, or just sitting there. His hair will randomly flare up. Sometimes it’s for a split second?
is this something to worry about?
The guinea pig is eating, drinking, and acting as normal.
Thank you!

Hair puffing is an indication of pain somewhere inside the body; at the moment it seems to be transitory. Keep an eye on it and see whether there are more indicators over the coming weeks or more likely months. You are obviously a very obervant owner, so you are catching something that is just a little bit off very early on.

At this stage I would not worry.
