I was cleaning my boy's cage today and I noticed my Charlie's ears are redder than usual. Also more irritated and less fluffy than usual. Does anyone know why this could be the case? Is there anything I should do immediately?

I've contacted my Vet and I'm awaiting their reply too. Thanks for any help. I'm really nervous because it came out of nowhere. Please let me know what you guys think :(

I’m afraid I can’t really see any concerning redness or irritation coming across in the video - but equally we don’t know what is normal for him.
The only time I can see a tiny bit of red in the ear, the camera angle then changes and they immediately look normal pink again.

Their ears can get red if they are warm.

Otherwise if you have cause for concern then the only thing is to have a hands on vet check.

Yeah sorry, He's quite a skittish guy. It just looked different than normal. Could be the lighting? (Windows are open behind him). Thanks for responding, I just wanted to see if it was really apparent or if I could just be overreacting. He is acting normal, so I guess I'll just keep an eye out.
