Hi everybody!
As it is Christmas very very soon, I was wondering if I could bake my guinea pigs a nice treat, however google is useless for this sort of thing.
Does anyone have a recipe?
I know that they can't have flour, oil, or anything too sugary, so it's been difficult to find anything actually decent
Thank you all! ❤️❤️❤️

:wel:

Piggies should not eat cooked food at all so you won’t be able to bake anything.

The best treats you can give them are things like different types of fresh herbs or dried forages. Perhaps a carrot cottage or hay cube - something they can chew but also play with.

Most guinea pigs will regard forage, or veggies a treat.
My Priscilla treats a chunk of cucumber as a real treat and purrs happily as she takes away to eat it.
Maybe give them something that can only be fed occasionally like a small piece of apple or a slice of carrot. This is much better them than baked treats as they shouldn’t eat cooked foods
They are easily pleased.
Your piggies are lucky to have such a loving owner.
Welcome to the forum.

I’m planning to give my piggies a pea flake each, a few shavings of carrot and hay cookies. I did order forage but unfortunately remembered too late!
