Guinea pigs are going on each other's rear end

Our guinea pigs have started to run around on each other's back/rear end. They've never done anything like this before so we're wondering if it has something to do with the fact that it's spring ( we've had them for about a month now). Are they meant to do this and should we be concerned? We have 2 girls and a boy. The boy is neutered.

This is totally normal behaviour. Don’t worry
Mounting is dominance but it will also happen when one of the sows is in season. Sows go into season around every two or so weeks so you will see this a lot throughout their entire lives.

Someone is probably in season. It should all settle down again soon, but be reassured it’s normal behaviour.
