Guinea Pigs and Rain

This may sound like a silly question, but my guineas are indoor piggies and today I had them outside as I do when its a nice day in thier run. Well, it started to rain and I couldnt catch Crumpet and she didnt seem too impressed. It stopped raining and now shes in a bad mood. Is it ok for piggies to be in the rain? She did hide under her shelter but only after some furious panic and running around in the rain!

If they get wet in the rain, towel dry them and make sure ethey do not get chilled.
