Guinea Pigs and Rabbits kept together

Just got from Swallow Aquatics in East Harling and was utterly shocked to see them keeping a rabbit and a Guinea pig together. Going to email their head office tonight and attach the photo I took.

I won't be stepping foot in there again
 
I was in Diss Garden Centre at the weekend and as I was walking around the plant section I heard "Wheek wheek wheek". I went in to see the piggys and saw a mixture of piggys and baby buns literally all excitable and humping!

It really upset me. Mainly it was piggys humping rabbits but I was worried they'd been mis sexed and people will end up buying pregnant pigs.

ALSO one of the hutches outside was TEENY; I'm talking about 3 1/2 foot!
 
I went to the NEC last year to an exhibition about pets and advising families how to look after them. Well you can imagine my horror in the furry pets corner where people were giving advice about g.pigs, rabbits hamsters etc. There was a guinea pig and a rabbit caged together. So basically they were telling the general public it was ok to house rabbits and guinea pigs together. I had to be dragged away by my friends cause i was on the verge of causing a scene, i was so angry xx
 
My other half told me I was causing a scene. So sad to see
 
Cause a scene! Do it! I do it all the time, I nearly had a fight with a woman in pets at home as her kid was kicking the glass around the giant rabbit enclosure, so I said to the kid 'OI stop that!' and the Mum told me her kid was entitled to 'play with the rabbit'...I did not leave quietly...

OMG! thats terrible.. and the fact that is what the mum would call "play" pow-pow

All you can do is complain and not go back there, hopefully they'll change it when they see people don't like it.

That's awful that they're giving bad advice :( now people will just think it's ok
