In a world where Guinea pigs rule!
My name is Hannah and I own 4 guinea pigs. Recently one of my guinea pigs has been acting strangely. She makes what seems to be a forced squeaking sound. When she uses the restroom she lays in it and gets it all over herself. She's become aggressive towards my other female guinea pig which she shares a cage with and was never aggressive towards before. Stupidly I don't have a vet to take her to and because of Covid-19 there's not many places we can go. I was wondering if you could possibly help me?

If you have a concern that she is unwell, she needs to see a vet, I’m afraid there isn’t anything we can do online for her. In the uk vets are still seeing animals for urgent situations so please do speak with a vet

It could be a simple UTI, it could be a problem in the reproductive system. Either way it will need a vet as there is no way of knowing for definite and then you need the prescription meds for her too

I agree that she needs to see a vet.
Most vets are still accepting emergencies (which this is) and when you call to make an appointment they will explain how they have their own system set up.
I hope you can get her seen soon.

:agr: She needs to see a vet. Vets are still seeing animals to prevent suffering but not for routine matters (microchipping, etc) so a vet should still agree to see her.
