Guinea pig wounds?

She is in pain when I touch her.
 
Hello. It could be a few things. I think a trip to the vets would be best. Then you can get her the correct treatment and she will start to feel better soon.

Hi!

Please have her vet checked.
It is impossible to tell whether it is self-inflicted (potentially mange mites, a burst cyst or the start of ringworm) or a deep bite wound from a companion (very rare in sows and you will have to look for two needle prick wounds close together one from each upper incisor).

Did you find out what this was @avalynn07 ? I have just found the exact same on my piggy. I will be taking him to the vet tomorrow.

You should start a new thread for your own health issue @Jemima this is an old thread and I dont think this member ever reported back- often this happens, people join thinking we can replace veterinary advice but of course we can't! So start a new thread of your own and of course let us know how your piggy gets on at the vet.
