My guinea pig will not stop eating the correx in his C&C cage, he has a friend and tubes to chew but will push them out of the way to get to the plastic!
I was wondering if it would be safe to put a small amount of the undiluted vinegar I use to clean the cage, on the areas he chews?

Please do not use vinegar to deter the chewing.
It could be very painful and distressing for him and once it is on his nose, mouth or face he can not escape it.

A far better solution is binder clips to cover the top of the correx, or covering the core in that area with fleece secured with large bulldog clips.

Yes as swissgreys said, I would put a large fleece that you can clip to the top of the plastic so she can not bite or see it :) and be sure to give them other things to chew. Best of luck! Let us know if he stops chewing xx.
