Guinea pig White pee?!

Hello guys, recently the past few days my Guinea pig has been peeing white a little more lately, I know it’s normal for Guinea pigs to get rid of calcium but now I’m seeing it more and more, I used to see it 2-3 times a weeks now it’s been almost 5 days, he pees a lot in a full day, like he will have 8 spots of pee and outta the 8 3 of them will be with calcium white spots a little dot sometimes bigger it various, I’m trying to make him pee less white and his diet is 1 and a half spoon of oxbow Pellets, he has water everyday from (Poland spring water bottle) he has green peppers cucumbers and lettuce and celery stick and leaves and carrot once a week, he gets oxbow Vitamin C cookie 1 per day, and he has Unlimited Orchard grass Hay
-He is really active he does not struggle to pee or is in pain, is always jumping and excited begging for food, his health wise is perfect I just don’t know why it’s white pee everyday now should I make an appointment?

Chalky, powdery white pees are ok. Its if it feels gritty and sand like that you need to be concerned.

Check the calcium content of the water. Bottled water can sometimes be high in calcium.

When you say one and a half spoons of pellets - what size are those spoons? If they are tablespoons then it is too much. He should only have one tablespoon per day.

What veg does he veg daily (the sentence runs a bit and it’s difficult to understand which bits are daily and while are once a week).
Coriander, lettuce, cucumber and pepper is fine to be given daily. Celery stalk is fine to give but not really daily. Celery leaves are high in oxalates and need to be kept limited. Carrot also should be no more than one very small amount and no more than once a week. It doesn’t actually need to be in the diet at all.

It feels powdery and it dissolves fast and when I rub it it goes away and like turns yellow and rubbing more makes the white stain go away kinda weird, and yes I give him a full teaspoon of pellets, and another one but half a teaspoon, in the mornings he gets Green peppers like 3 inches long and 2 inches wide all for him, and at night bed time he gets romaine lettuce 2-3 full lettuces, he drinks a lot of water too, and he gets 1 Vitamin C cookie per day, this is how his diet has been recently, last week I was low on veggies I gave him Lettuce every morning and Cucumber every morning for 7 full days straight, I don’t know if this had an impact feeding him the same veggies for a week , it’s really hard since he’s picky He also has a Timothy Hay house from oxbow and he can chew it and eat it, recently he’s been chewing that also non stop, I don’t know if it has any impact, but I can tell you this (once he started chewing the house) I started seeing more white pees (when he wasn’t chewing it at all) i rarely see white pees so it’s really difficult to see what’s causing it

Powdery is fine.

If pellets are a teaspoon not a tablespoon then that’s fine.

It’s fine if he has some lettuce leaves (I’m not sure you actually meant he had 2-3 entire lettuces (which is too much) or whether you meant 2-3 leaves (which is fine) and cucumber every day. Thats the recommended diet. They can have lettuce, cucumber, coriander and pepper every day.

Yeah it’s 2-3 entire lettuces sometimes 4, do you by any chance know what’s causing it? And what I should change?

No you should not be feeding entire lettuce - its just a couple of leaves per pig per day.

As I said, having white powdery pee is normal and is only concerning if it is gritty. It is the normal way of excreting calcium.

No you should not be feeding entire lettuce - its just a couple of leaves per pig per day.

As I said, having white powdery pee is normal and is only concerning if it is gritty. It is the normal way of excreting calcium.

As long as not every pee in a day is a white pee, and as long as it is only powdery and not gritty.

You do need to review the diet now though anyway

Ok thank you I appreciate your help and time! I will be monitoring him for now and see any changes.
