Guinea pig weird rash

Hi so my mom bought my little brother two guinea pigs from petco like two weeks ago. but I took over on caring for them and been doing lots of research to make sure they are doing okay I noticed one of them had a weird dry skin rash looking thing so I did research heard about fungus/ringworms I bought to creams for them one for fungus and one for ringworms his skin was better 2 days ago but now I see it’s got more red and spread to his little hand/feet I am very upset I don’t know what’s happening to him since it’s my first time owning guinea pigs can anyone tell me what’s happening or give me any name of products so I can purchase and see if it’s helping!

Oh also I put cream on him two times a day morning and night and I don’t know it doesn’t seem to help.

He needs to see a vet. Poor baby.

You might not be giving him the correct treatment if his condition has not been diagnosed.

Yea, he needs a vet to have a look and prescribe something to help him. Shop bought stuff isn't very good at all. Needs the real deal to sort it out normally.

You need to get him to a vet for the correct diagnosis and prescribed treatment at the correct strength. You can’t home treat them as anything you can buy yourself generally isn’t good enough to do the job.

If it is ringworm, then it can spread to humans so you must make sure you properly wash your hands, disinfect the cage and wash any fleece bedding properly

Is there no more available? It's easy to register with a different vet. Might be wise to make sure they deal with small pets though
