Teenage Guinea Pig
Hi,
I currently have a guinea pig who just had/has a URI and wanted to know how the spread of URI's work. If one of my guinea pigs still has some lingering effects of it after a month-long period of antibiotics, does it mean he still has the potential to spread a URI to my other guinea pig? Or could it just be that the leftover bacteria is too weak to be spread? Also, if my other guinea pig does get the URI from him, is it only dangerous if he starts to show symptoms, or is the fact that he has the bacteria in him dangerous? Sorry if some of these questions are stupid I just really don't know how guinea pig sicknesses work If anyone could explain that would be great!
