Guinea pig trying to escape my hands

My guinea pig has always been such a cuddle monster and he would lick me, for the past few days he’s just been trying to run away from me whilst in my hands he’s super easy to pick up? Why is he like this?

He is currently sitting shaking on my lap he didn’t use to do this

Either he has taken fright or - if he becomes itchy in the coming days - he may develop mange mites with very uncomfortable skin.
Please do not panic and treat on spec as a knee jerk reaction. See a vet if there is increased very vigorous itching.
