Guinea pig trembling

Sometimes when I hold my guinea pig in a towel or whenever, he starts to tremble, but only when I am touching him with my hands and not just the towel, is there a reason for this? Is he scared?

One of my guinea pigs used to do this too. He may be nervous, maybe try giving him a snack when he is in your arms to reassure him.

Some piggies shiver after a bath because they are feeling cold. Guinea pigs also tremble when they are frightened/apprehensive. Your piggy may take a bit to recover from his frightening bath experience. Just be gentle, praise him and have a little treat for him while he dries off.
