Hope this is in the right section.

My 2 sows have lived together for over 3 years. One of them (Baby) was spayed last week so I quarantined her from Daisy. As she was still on antibiotics and I had to travel with work she has just got back from 3 nights at the vets.

It's a week today since her op and because she has healed really well and is in a better mood I thought I'd reintroduced them in a neutral run.

There was lots of teeth chattering at first and then after an hour I thought they were ok as Daisy was grooming Baby. No more than 15 mins later though I had to witness my first guinea pig fight (although no blood was drawn).

Quickly grabbed one of them out the run and now the run has been divided (they can still see and smell each other) but there is still lots of chattering and Daisy looks like a dog when their heckles are up!

I'm really worried now that the week apart has ruined their partnership. I'm now scared to try putting them together again because I really don't wanna go back to the vets.

Daisy has always been nervous and skitty and whilst I don't know who caused the fight watching her now she's showing boar like dominant behaviour through the partition at Baby.

Any advice would be greatly received!
