Hi, Guys. My guinea pig fell 2 days ago and his upper teeth are broken like image below. They still have some connection and I am not sure what to do.
He can not eat anything but fresh lettuce.
What should I do to help him? will he grow new teeth?

If he is not eating hay then you must step in and syringe feed him a recovery feed or mushed pellets. Hay is 80% of the diet and I’d he cannot eat it independently to maintain his weight and gut function then he will quickly become unwell. Lettuce is not enough to sustain them.
Ensure you switch to daily weight checks so you can ensure you are getting enough syringe feed into him in each 24 hour period to keep his weight stable.

Teeth do regrow but you need to see a vet to ensure the teeth are not too badly damaged.
You should also see a vet to check he is otherwise ok from internal injuries. Any fall from height requires piggy to be checked by a vet.

It is really hard to find a opening vet at this time rightnow. Will his broken teeth drop? or the new teeth will replace the broken one?

If he has had a significant fall, then you need to call the vet and tell them that so they can fit him in.
Are the broken teeth still visible beyond the gum? They don’t grow new teeth. Guinea pig teeth grow constantly throughout their lives (only kept worn and to the right length by eating hay and grass) so broken teeth will do regrow and they will meet again but you need to ensure they grow back properly and that they have not broken below the gumline.

It’s essential you step in with syringe feeding though - have you been syringe feeding since his fall?
If he has only been eating lettuce for the past two days then he will need urgent help.

Please have a look at this link about broken teeth, provided no infection enters the gum then they should grow back quite quickl. In th meantime you must support him by syringe feeding him critical care or mushed pellets, aim for about 40-60 gms per day divided into 3 hourly feeds, last feed before you go to bed, then early morning. You can offer a dish of dry plain porridge oats in the cage loo. Grate veggies or spout into tiny chips

A vet check is important to make sure his teeth aren’t broken below the gumline (they usually wobble if that’s the case)
