Guinea Pig Sneezing & Coughing

Hello everyone! My guinea pig suddenly starts to sneeze or cough. This usually happens randomly like when I'm petting her or after she eats hay. I know guinea pigs sometimes cough when they eat to fast but I'm still really worried cause this started happening 1 1\2 weeks ago.

I’d take the little piggie to the vet. It could be early signs of pneumonia.

I agree a vet visit is needed to rule out a URI or Pneumonia. Ask your vet to check for any fluid on her chest/ around the heart. Also is she near any allergens that could make her cough and sneeze like an air fresher? What is she bedded on? Is she eating Ok?

I use Aspen wood shavings and I don't really use air fresheners

Ok it could be the shavings as some pigs are sensitive to them but I would go to the vet first and rule out any health issues.
