I was wondering weather you think that this is alright considering what is happening at the moment?

My guinea pigs Phoebe and Yasi are very close, but phoebe isn't getting enough food and Yasi is eating to much. The vet said that Yasi definitely needs to go on a diet, so I separated them at meal times and Yasi ate her veggies quickly but phoebe likes to eat them over time and will only nibble at them here and there. I also separated them at pellet time as Phoebe doesn't get to eat any when Yasi eats so fast. Not only do we have eating issues, but Phoebe has a badly healed back leg and she needs her tablets (which she eats slowly) but also I was advised to keep her on padded fleece. My only concern is that Yasi loves eating fleece and I'm scared she will get a blockage if she eats to much of it.
I have recently decided that it would be better if I separated them for the time being, I don't want to stress them but I think that it would be better over all. I don't want them to get stressed so I have put Phoebe on one side of the cage with fleece and Yasi on the other side with carefresh and in the middle there is just c&c grids. I have put there litter trays next to each other so they can eat next to each other and I have also put their beds together.
