Guinea pig post neutering

My boy is a third day post neutering op and his stitches look a little swollen and red.... well at least I think so. Could someone knowledgeable advise if this is normal? I had another boar neutered last year and his stitches were like a dream

I did this morning and still waiting on the phone call

Only the vet can advise really, most piggies should get a post-op check 2 or 3 days after surgery to check how everything is healing, and often a second check a week later to sign things off as healed safely.

He's appointment was meant to be today. Unfortunately I have came out with tonsillitis and I am not able to take him there. Hence my worry
