Hi,
recently one of my guinea pigs has been having smaller poops. (I will post an image later I don't have time right now) I have been feeding both of them their pellets, enought hay, fresh water, and the right amount of veggies. can anyone help? I will post the image in maybe 30 to 45 minutes.

Have you been carrying out the routine weekly weight checks? This is the only way to know they are eating enough hay. You cannot know they are eating enough hay by giving it them and watching them eat it

If you have been weighing, what has been happening with the weight at each check?

Smaller poops is often due to reduced hay intake, and a reduction in hay intake will show on the weight checks .
If this reduced hay intake and weight loss occurs you need to switch to weighing the piggy every day so you can more closely monitor, step in with syringe feeding and see a vet.

It is great that you have noticed this, but the only real way to know if your piggy is eating enough is via routine weight checks.
If the weight is stable then this will confirm that he really is eating enough.

Hi, we are planning to do weighing tonight. I will write down his weight and the day to keep track of it to see any changes. Thanks for the help!
