Hi

It is good that your guinea pigs get exercise.
I read on a website that they love :smitten: to round around a maze.
I made one for my guinea pig but he didin't even bother with it but i think it was because it was a strange thing to him :-\

Please tell me what your guinea pigs like to play with so i can try it with my guinea pig.
 
exercise is important to piggies just as much as it is to other animals O0 mine have a huge cage and also get floortime daily, they love running through tubes, egg boxes, shoe boxes etc O0
 
my OH made a big maze for our 2 out of brown boxes, we hide food in different sections and they loved running around and finding the food.

we also let them out of the cage to run around, most of the time they love it, running really fast and chasing each other, but sometimes they just sleep.

seeing how fast they can run makes me think that they like exercise and floor time
 
thats the thing with piggies they will only exercise when food is involved lol. :smitten:
 
Usually they tear around like mad for the first few minutes then either flop in a corner or start walking around investigating.. Mine don't need food to exercise, they get a treat of parsley once back int heir cages but thats all

Mine do the same. I add food after they have done their mad dashes about at the start to get them active again.
 
Mine just love cuddles and to socialized with each other and kiss me ::) my piggies sometimes fall asleep on my shoulders and dont bother too much with toys to be honest. they prefer comfort to excersise but i dont blame them :D

i tend to make there cage more interesting by giving them plenty of hay and i sometimes hide their food for them and they go popcorning around their cage sniffing everywhere ;D thats excersise isnt it as they run ever soo fast :D
