My guinea pig has not been pooping since this morning. He was pooping yesterday, but it looked weird. It looked like the poop guinea pigs eat (but he wasn't eating it). The poop was a little lighter than usual guinea pig poop. Now, he's not pooping. Help?

He doesn't eat hay and drink water as often. I think he does not eat the hay because the hay I have is mostly hard stems. But I'm getting more soon. What brands of hay would you recommend? The one I have is the Kaytee all-natural hay. Usually, I buy the Oxbow Western Timothy hay but I bought Kaytee because I was at Walmart.

And I don't know why he isn't drinking.

If he is not eating, then you need to step then you need to step in and syringe feed him.
Please switch from the routine weekly weight checks and instead weigh him daily so you can be sure you are syringe feeding him enough so that he doesn’t lose weight.
Poop output is 1-2 days behind food intake so if he isn’t pooping today then he may not have been eating enough for several days already and will urgently need your support feeding.
Please have him seen by a vet

If he does not like the hay you have got for him, then it would be a good idea to go and vef his normal hay and see if that encourages him to eat

Thank you! I will try syringe feeding, but I also have an update:
So he pooped 11 times today. He is also eating more hay and drinking water. As for veggies, he has no problem whatsoever.
The only problem is that I think he has a hard time pooping.
