My guinea pig, diasy ( almost 1 year) was fine this afternoon but suddenly not eating anything and is not moving.she is also squeaking slowly. There ain't no experienced vet in my town so please tell what should I do
Please step in with syringe feeding. You will also need to switch from weekly weight checks and instead weigh her daily so you can monitor that you are giving enough syringe feed on each 24 hour period to keep her weight stable.
These are the home measures you can take to keep her as stable as possible during any illness. However, we cannot tell you what may be behind this episode. She will need to see a vet for a diagnosis and any necessary treatment.
