Hello!
When I pick my pigs up, they have a tendency to make a sort of "putt putt" noise. Also when I am grooming them, they make a few low pitched squeaks. And sometimes when I put my finger near their mouths, they gently nip or lick me. What does all this mean?!

Hello

The putt putt noise is chuntering, just saying 'hello, i moving around, i'm okay' 'all is good here'

Squeals are signs of not liking something, you may be accidentally hurting them by pulling their fur a little, or they are being drama queens. Pitch would scream when I picked her up to syringe feed her at first...

Lick or a nip is checking if you are food :) It may also be a polite request to pop them back in their cage. A few of our girls at laptime would gently nibble me if they wanted to go home to have a wee
