Hellow ! I needed a bit of advice as it is the first time it happened to one of my piggy. I noticed Ginger front paws looked twisted and crooked. She was still walking, didn't seem in any pain and the vet ever said it was a problem last time he saw her (in march).
Lately however I noticed she was eating and tearing her own hair from the same paws. I saw the vet and she gave me a cream to put on the bald patch but thats it. Now when I put the cream on, she is eating her paws which makes me think she is in pain.
Has anybody ever had the same problem ? I'm supposed to see the vet next thursday but I don't think she will really say a thing about the twisted fingers and Ginger really seem in pain when we touch it...

Can you ask your vet for an earlier appointment?

In the UK most vets will respond quickly if a guinea pig is in pain

Hope everything will be ok
