Hi. Its me again, and I hope I’m not asking too many questions on this forum. A few days now, I’ve noticed my guinea pigs toe/nail is bent to the left a bit. It doesn’t seem to be bothering her, but I just wanted to make sure this isn’t a huge issue. I can’t get a good photo of it without making her angry, which I do not want to do, considering the fact I JUST trimmed all of my guinea pigs nails, so I drew it, basically. I’m not the best at drawing, but yes, the second nail is supposed to be crooked like that. If anyone could help, that would be greatly appreciated. Also, just in case this helps, her paw is fully black.

Hi
Please done't worry. Guinea pig nails often grow the wonkier the old guinea pigs get and the heavier they are.

The front legs are the weight bearing ones while the back legs act as springs for speed. That weight load will push the toes out a bit more as the piggies age.

Oh, thank you! I didn’t think it was a huge issue but I just wanted to make sure.

A lot of pigs get nails that grow in odd directions as they get older, often curving off to the side. It makes them harder to cut, but isn't a problem in and of itself.

Well, thank you for the reassurance 😊 I’m overprotective of my girl as shes a daredevil and will often pull stunts that include, but are not limited to: Jumping over the other pigs, trying to jump out of the cage, climbing UP the cage, and almost running out of her cage.
