Hi!
I had to pick up my piggy this evening to administer Baytril.
Mo and Vani refuse to stand, and prefer that I bring them their medicine to them while they lay down.
Spoiled piglets!
The vet gives the medicine a special fruit flavor that the two piggies love! I have even had Vani pull the syringe away from me and run off with it before!
Stubbins, on the other hand, thinks that Baytril is the worst thing ever! She is smart enough to know that if I put a tunnel or hidey near her, it is a trap!
When I was finally able to pick her up, we walked over to sit down. I always sit down ASAP when handling the piggies for safety reasons. I have a sliding mirror closet door, and as we passed it, Stubbins stared directly into the mirror for about 15 seconds. I stopped walking to watch what she was doing. After staring for a while, she let out a long, deep purr, and then looked up at me oddly.
Do piggies have the ability to see themselves in the mirror? Was this just a coincidence? Was she perhaps seeing something else?
I thought that it was quite odd and decided that I would consult the forum!
