I cant get him to the vet anytime soon because their arent any near me that have an availability today, and theres no emergency vets near me. I asked them if i could just get some meticam but they wont do it without an appointment, the eariest which is next week. Hes laying on his side, and moving his feet to try and get up. Hes been lying down for an hour already, and i dont know why he cant get up. This happened last week as well but it wasn't that bad, i tried to get him to a vet but i couldn't. before this he was completely fine, eating drinking and walking normally.
Is there anything i can do withought a vet? should i syringe feed or is it dangourous for him to eat if hes lying down? can i give him childrens tylenol?

I'm not sure if its paralysis, but if its not, can i try to help get him up? is it possible that he just cant get up himself?

Oh I'm so sorry to hear this.
You can only syringe feed if he is still able to swallow. You would need to pick him up him and out him on your lap to syringe feed him.
if he can move his legs, then it’s not paralysis
Does he seem like he is aware of his surroundings?

We cannot and will not tell you to self medicate him as doing so could be harmful.

I’m really really sorry but it looks and sounds like he’s on his way over the bridge.

I had a piggy that did this. I woke up to him laying on his side and moving his legs fast. It looked like he was running. I rushed him straight to the emergency vet and he was PTS. I hope I’m wrong.

He doesent seem aware, i tried putting food in front of him but he didn't react at all, i think hes in to much pain, what should i do if i cant self medicate?

If he doesn’t seem aware of anything anymore and his legs are running then it is possible he is sadly passing away.
Section 3 of the guide explains what to do if you cannot get to a vet in an end of life situation.

If he isn’t passing away and is actually just very ill, then all I can suggest is you keep on to the vet and express the urgency of the situation. In that situation he needs to be seen urgently.

I’m sorry your piggy is so unwell. Will none of the vets see him in an emergency? I know that vets in the US work very differently and don’t offer wrap around care. I would try to ring around again and tell them he’s on his last legs. Hopefully then one would be able to squeeze him in. All the best.

I’m sorry you lost him. Take good care of yourself 💕
