My teenage boar(almost 7 months) has gotten boar glue on my other guinea pig(2.5 years) twice in the past week or so. It's super gross and I don't know how to prevent it or if my teenage boar will stop doing it eventually. I additionally am wondering if there is a better way to get rid of it besides snipping it off since it happened in the same part/area on my other pig. Any thoughts on this?

There is nothing you can do to prevent it. It is a normal thing and will happen throughout their lives. It’s just one of the joys of having boars!

You either need to just leave it to drop out of the fur on its own or cut it out. You might be able to wipe it off if you witness it happen but once it dries it is solid (hence the name glue!)
