Junior Guinea Pig
Hello forum folks. Just wondering if anyone has had to use an inhaler and aerosol chamber with their piggy?
Dash's respiratory condition has kicked up a gear. We're nebulising but it doesn't seem to be doing much. The next step from the vet is an asthma inhaler delivered via an aerosol chamber.
But the specific cat chamber he has recommend is expensive and there's no guarantee the cat/kitten mask will fit Dash's face so there might then be added costs to engineer a DIY mask. You can find much cheaper cat and human chambers online though. But there isn't much information about whether we really need to spring for the fancy cat one or if a cheaper option would do the same job.
Has anyone had any experience with this before I go back to the vet for another chat about it?
