provide lots of really soft hay and make sure there is ventilation to prevent condensation, they are hardy animals and provided they have plenty of bedding they are fine in a shed
my boys are in our garage. I'm worrying about them getting cold. They have loads of hay and a "pigloo" to snuggle into, they are also covered by 3 blankets and I've just ordered a snugglesafe heatpad as its getting colder this week.
Mine are in a shed, I have an old greenhouse heater in there set to come on when its gets cold. I also use snugglesafe pads but find they only stay warm for 4-6hours when its really cold, so don't last all night. Thats why I put the haeter on when its really cold.
Being in a shed is far better than just being outside, you don't have to worry about the wind and rain elements. Be sure to pack lots of hay into their hutch, and cover them up at night. Snuggle heatpads are very effective.
Mines are also in a shed and if its an icy night I pop a red bulb on to take the chill of. Did get the police interested once when they could see UV and red bulbs in my garden sheds haha
Just thought I'd add to this that unless they are acclimatised to colder temperatures already then I think it's not recommended to put them out (even in a shed) until the weather gets warmer. So if they've been living inside keep them inside for now.
