Hi All, I'm just after some advice my piggues are currently live in my house however as the weather is nicer i want to try them outside. I am looking for a hutch big enough for 3 guinea pigs i want them to have a lots of space i also want a run that us attached to the cage so they can go in and out as they want (also want the run to be big) I'm really struggling to find anything suitable! Has anyone got any suggestions? Many thanks

For three piggies, you will need a six foot hutch. Chartwell hutches are commonly recommended on here.
It can sometimes be easier to not have one with the run actually attached and to instead buy a separate run. A lot of hutches with permanently attached runs are not big enough plus you are then not able to move them around all that easily to enable the grass to recover

thank you, the main reason i want the run attached is so that when I'm in work they can go in and out as they want during the day

Exercise caution if considering allowing them free access outside when you aren’t at home - predators, weather, hot breezes all provide risk factors

very good point... i have just ordered a 6 foot chartwell, i do already have a large run so i may just stick with that and put them in when i can supervise

That would be a much safer idea.

Having piggies outside is hard work! Mine live in their shed year round - the heat in summer within outdoor hutches (even those just outside and not within sheds) and sheds accumulates and very quickly prove dangerous so positioning of the hutch is key.
