Hi, I noticed today that underneath my guinea pig's left eye it is a light pink color with more white showing than usual and it is a tiny bit watery. It does not seems to be bothering her at all and there is no crustiness or puffiness. Does anybody have an idea of what it is or has dealt with this before? Thanks ☺

I would get a vet to check it if I were you. She may have a hay poke. Guinea pigs do get a condition known as fatty eye . The vet is the best person to diagnose.

Yup, that sure looks like fatty eye to me, lots of my guys have it

yep ide also say fatty eye.
one of my girls has it, have you checked eye and just inside lid to rule out hay particles?
A slight watery eye i wouldnt be too alarmed with as they excrete liquid from eyes to help with grooming

I would get it checked just to be sure, I have a pig with fatty or pea eye, Has it come on out of the blue though? Best get it checked in case it is a hay poke or it starts to bulge.

Yes I agree with the others that you need to take her to your vet so that they can advise what it is and the best way forward to deal with it.

Hope all goes well xx

Well today I woke up and checked her and there was no pink to it at all, which is making me think it may have just been irritated. There definitely is more white showing on the left eye than the right.
