Is there any guinea pig friendly antiseptics I can use on Picchu's chin? Just salt water or could I use a first aid wipe or Savlon?

He boar glued and then scratched it off and seems to have caught himself with his claw. He glues so much he's totally had the fur ripped off and it never grows back 🙄 he's not been to the vet, we rang them the first time this happened and they said unless it seems infected just to leave it to heal

I would probably just leave it then.
See a vet if it starts to look red/swollen/infected.

If you did want to clean it, I would recommend you speak to a vet first, perhaps they would suggest some sort of saline solution but as they didn’t mention it when you phoned I would leave it for now.

I have a piggy who used to get a right old mess on him often by his lovely roommate and a couple times it made a wound, and they managed to heal on their own without a solution. But as I said, if it started to look wrong/change at all, he would be into the vets.

I miss having boars. I have 3 lovely ladies at the moment but would love a boar again but I think I'm gonna have to wait awhile......
