Hi there,
I’m new to the guinea pig forum!
I recently adopted 2 female guinea pigs, and have noticed they both have the same thing on their front feet.
I have attached two photos of it, any advise on what it may be or what do do about it will be really helpful.
Thank you8BB138C8-B1FF-4182-9D6F-1E4FA62C6A5C.webp2BE54B54-657E-45BB-896C-C8498C70E2F3.webp

It looks a bit like a spur to me (an overgrowth of dead skin). If you search on the forum there are many other posts about this.
However, I would monitor and see if it grows, the foot swells, the piggies look troubled by them and I would ask a vet to check them if that happens.

Thank you,
I have been checking it daily and it doesn’t seem to effect them or hurt at all.
Should I bathe it / put something on it to help, or just leave it and take action if it gets worse?

I leave them alone unless they grow and start to catch on fleece etc

I though the same but didn’t want to guess.
:wel: To you and your piggie(s). We’d love to see some photos.
