One of my guinea pigs, Pete has been falling asleep hunched over for a while, later on he will fully lay down and things seem normal.

He’s 2 weeks into antibiotics for a UTI that seems to have cleared up (never had any blood in urine thankfully), could this be GI upset? He’s eating/drinking/pooping normally. Pee is normal (I should know, he peed in my bed the other day) he is very active but when it’s quiet he doesn’t seem right to me? It could be me being paranoid :,)

Is this something to be concerned about? I only came here rather than to my vet because I may have COVID-19 and I’ve been so sick and weak. I’m waiting for my results tomorrow. I can’t leave the house unless I test negative and if I test positive we will all have to quarantine for 2 weeks and I’m not sure how that works if you need to see a vet. If I thought this was an emergency I would have someone come pick him up, but he’s not displaying anything else concerning. I just don’t know what to do, honestly just been so stressed so I can’t tell if I’m overreacting or not :,) tried taking a picture but every time I get up he comes out to sniff me so can’t get one of him like that.

I’m not really sure. Is he hunched over at any other time or just when he’s sleeping?

Only when he’s sleeping. Everything else is normal which is just weird, I’ve been doing health checks with him everyday and nothing is wrong that I can see, ate all his veg today and been eating/drinking/etc like normal still. Maybe he’s still having discomfort from his UTI? I feel like it must have started around the time, but it’s been like 2 weeks so I just can’t remember.

Hi! Has your vet checked for the possibility of bladder stones?
