Guinea pig fall

My guinea pig likes to climb on my shoulder when he wants to go back in his cage after I take him, but as he was on my shoulder, he climbed down my back and fell and bumped his side on a chair and went on the floor but he carried on walking. He seems fine but I just want to know if I should be worried.

Please have your piggy seen by a vet today (it’s important to have them seen after any fall) as he will need to be checked for any injuries - piggies can hide their pain as prey animals so it may not be immediately obvious if he is injured.

Please also see about getting him a friend if he lives alone. They are very social and need companionship of their own kind.
