Guinea pig eye problem

I've noticed my guinea pigs eye has had this substance around it recently that seemed like it appeared overnight. I've looked around and read that it's released to clean their eye but it doesn't seem to be going away. I've had her for a while no so she's pretty old now. It's in both of her eyes but this eye seems worse

Hi and welcome

Eye cleaning fluid is a milky white fluid that dries into perfectly white drops if it is for some reason not reabsorbed via the tear duct.

This looks like something could be wrong with the conjunctiva. Please see a vet for a hands-on examination and the appropriate medication.
