Ok...starting to set up my new guinea pig home in advance so I am ready when I find my new piggies. Would really appreciate help on my shopping list. Also in my cup of veggies a day what would be best?...thanks :-) x

Are you having a c and c cage? Have you decided on a bedding?

Yeah ordered my cage....its winging it way lol. Bedding wise was thinking shredded paper and shavings x

well done for doing research first. No need to add anything,twians have given you all you need

For bedding I recommend vetbed or fleece. Shavings can cause allergies and I hate them! I got my feted from dog product direct. It is hypoallergenic so ideal for piggies. I use a layer of towels then the vetbed.

With the cage you ordered they will need two hours floor time a day. You can either section off a room making it piggy proof or get a playpen or run.
