It’s hard to say from a photo what might be wrong. Older sows sometimes have ovarian cysts and enlarged or crusty nipples can be a sign of a hormonal problem. Guinea pigs do also get mammary tumours. Some are cancerous and some non cancerous. Only a vet could tell you for sure. If you are able to take her to a vet, that would be a good idea.

There's always a chance that mammary lumps could be cancerous so it's best to get them seem by a vet as soon as possible. It's not just sow's but boars can get them too. We've had 2 boys in 2 weeks had to have ops to remove them and they've both recovered really well.

My Bill had to have a mammary tumour removed. he sailed through the operation. I would definitely get it checked out as soon as possible 🤞
